TimeKeeper Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these Terms of Service is to set forth the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Developer and the User, and other necessary matters concerning the use of the TimeKeeper application and its related services (hereinafter referred to as the 'Service') provided by MindGlow Studio (hereinafter referred to as the 'Developer').

Article 2 (Definitions)

The terms used in these Terms of Service are defined as follows:

  1. 'Service' refers to the TimeKeeper application and all related supplementary services provided by the Developer.
  2. 'User' refers to any individual who agrees to these Terms, enters into a service agreement with the Developer, and uses the Service.

Article 3 (Posting and Amendment of Terms)

  1. The Developer shall post the content of these Terms within the Service or on a connected screen in a manner easily accessible to the User.
  2. The Developer may amend these Terms to the extent that it does not violate relevant laws and regulations.
  3. If the Developer amends the Terms, it shall provide notice of the amended terms along with the current terms, specifying the effective date and reason for amendment, from 7 days prior to the effective date until the day before the effective date, in the manner described in Paragraph 1. However, if the amendments are unfavorable to the User, a grace period of at least 30 days shall be provided.

Article 4 (Provision and Change of Service)

  1. The Developer provides the following services to the User:
  2. The Developer may change the content of the Service to be provided under future contracts for valid reasons such as changes in the content, quality, or technical specifications of the Service.

Article 5 (Suspension of Service)

  1. The Developer may temporarily suspend the provision of the Service in cases of maintenance, replacement, or breakdown of information and communication facilities such as computers, communication disruptions, or other significant operational reasons.
  2. The Developer may suspend the provision of the Service based on business decisions, such as abandoning the business or changing business items. In such cases, the Developer shall notify the User in advance, or notify them afterward if there are unavoidable reasons that make prior notification impossible.

Article 6 (Obligations of the Developer)

  1. The Developer shall not engage in acts prohibited by law and these Terms or contrary to public morals, and shall make its best efforts to provide the Service continuously and stably.
  2. The Developer shall have a security system to protect personal information and shall disclose and comply with the Privacy Policy.

Article 7 (Google Calendar Integration Service)

  1. Service Nature: Google Calendar integration is an optional feature that users can choose to use. Not using this integration does not limit the use of the app's basic features.
  2. Permissions Requested Upon Integration: When integrating with Google Calendar, the following permissions are requested:
  3. Disconnecting Integration: Users can disconnect Google Calendar integration at any time in the app settings, and stored authentication information will be immediately deleted upon disconnection.
  4. Data Processing: Original data in Google Calendar is managed by Google, not the Developer, and the Developer only performs minimal access necessary for calendar synchronization.

Article 8 (Obligations of the User)

The User shall not engage in the following acts:

  1. Using another person's information fraudulently.
  2. Altering information posted by the Developer.
  3. Transmitting or posting information (such as computer programs) other than that specified by the Developer.
  4. Infringing on the copyrights or other intellectual property rights of the Developer and third parties.
  5. Damaging the reputation of or interfering with the business of the Developer and third parties.
  6. Using, reproducing, distributing, or promoting information obtained through the Service for commercial purposes without the prior consent of the Developer.
  7. Reproducing, disassembling, imitating, or otherwise modifying the Service through reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or any other processing.
  8. Any other illegal or wrongful acts.

Article 9 (Ownership of Rights)

Copyrights and other intellectual property rights for the Service are vested in the Developer. The User shall not use information to which intellectual property rights are vested in the Developer, obtained through the use of the Service, for commercial purposes or allow third parties to use it by means of reproduction, transmission, publication, distribution, broadcasting, or other methods without the prior consent of the Developer.

Article 10 (Limitation of Liability)

  1. The Developer shall be exempt from responsibility for providing the Service if it is unable to do so due to natural disasters or other force majeure events.
  2. The Developer shall not be liable for any disruption in the use of the Service for reasons attributable to the User.
  3. The Service is provided "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE". The Developer does not warrant that the Service will always be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, nor does it make any warranty as to the accuracy or reliability of the results obtained from the use of the Service.
  4. To the extent permitted by law, the Developer excludes all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms. The Developer is not liable for damages unless they are caused by the Developer's gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Article 11 (Account Deletion and Data Removal)

  1. Method of Withdrawal: Users can terminate their use of the Service at any time through the "Delete Account" or "Delete Data" function in the app settings menu.
  2. Scope of Data Deletion: Upon account deletion, the following data will be deleted:
  3. Non-deletable Items: Original data in Google Calendar is managed by Google and cannot be deleted by the Developer. Users must delete it directly from their Google account or Google Calendar.
  4. Immediate Processing: Data is deleted immediately upon withdrawal request, and deleted data cannot be recovered.

Article 12 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

  1. Any disputes arising between the Developer and the User shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
  2. Lawsuits concerning disputes between the Developer and the User shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the court prescribed by the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
