TimeKeeper Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the TimeKeeper application (hereinafter referred to as the 'Service') provided by MindGlow Studio (hereinafter referred to as the 'Developer'). The Developer complies with relevant laws and regulations, including the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea, and is committed to protecting the rights and interests of users.

Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information)

The Developer processes personal information for the following purposes. The processed personal information will not be used for purposes other than those stated below, and necessary measures, such as obtaining separate consent, will be taken if the purposes of use are changed.

1. Service Provision and Management: To provide normal functions of the app, fix bugs and errors, and ensure stable service operation.
2. Service Improvement and Statistical Analysis: To analyze users' service usage patterns (e.g., error occurrences, feature usage frequency) to improve service quality and to use as statistical data for developing new services.
3. Google Calendar Integration Service (Optional): When users choose to integrate with Google Calendar, we process the minimum necessary information to provide calendar synchronization services.

Article 2 (Items of Personal Information to be Processed)

1. Required Collection Items

The Developer does not require user registration and does not collect personally identifiable information when using the basic app features.

2. Optional Collection Items (When Using Google Calendar Integration)

Only when users choose to use the Google Calendar integration feature, the following information is collected:

• Google Account Information: Email address, profile name
• Google Calendar Information: Calendar events (event title, time, description, location), calendar list
• Authentication Information: OAuth 2.0 access token and refresh token

※ Google Calendar integration is optional, and not using it does not limit the use of the app's basic features.

3. Automatically Collected Items

During the use of the Service, the following information may be automatically collected through external analysis tools such as Google:

This information is used as statistical data in a form that cannot personally identify individuals. Users can refuse the collection of advertising identifiers by changing the settings on their mobile devices.

Article 3 (Processing and Retention Period of Personal Information)

As the Developer does not directly store users' personal information, a separate retention period is not specified. Information collected through external analysis tools as described in Article 2 is processed and retained according to the privacy policy of the respective service provider (Google).

Article 4 (Consignment of Personal Information Processing)

The Developer consigns the processing of personal information as follows for smooth service provision and analysis:

Article 4-2 (Sharing, Transfer, and Disclosure of Google User Data)

The Developer handles user data collected through Google accounts as follows:

1. Prohibition of Data Sharing with Third Parties: The Developer does not sell, share, transfer, or disclose Google user data (email, profile information, calendar data, etc.) to any third parties.
2. Limited Use of Data: Google user data is used solely for the service provision purposes (calendar synchronization) that users have explicitly consented to.
3. Exceptions: Data may be disclosed only in the following cases:
   • With explicit and separate consent from the user
   • To comply with legal obligations or court orders
   • At the user's own request
4. Data Security: All Google user data is encrypted and processed securely, protected from unauthorized access.
5. Data Retention and Deletion: Google user data is retained only while users are using the service and is immediately deleted in the following cases:
   • When users disconnect Google Calendar integration
   • When users request account deletion

Article 5 (Rights of Users and Their Legal Representatives)

Users can exercise their rights related to their personal information at any time.

1. Right to Access: Users may request to view their personal information processing status.
2. Right to Correction and Deletion: Users may request the correction or deletion of their personal information.
3. Right to Suspend Processing: Users may request the suspension of processing of their personal information.

How to Exercise Rights:

• Direct deletion through "Delete Account" or "Delete Data" function in the app settings menu
• Google Calendar disconnection: Select "Disconnect Google Calendar" in app settings
• Request via email to the Personal Information Protection Officer
• If you do not wish for information to be collected by external analysis tools, use the ad identifier blocking/resetting functions provided by your OS

Article 6 (Personal Information Protection Officer)

The Developer has designated a Personal Information Protection Officer to handle user inquiries and complaints related to personal information.

Article 7 (Measures to Ensure Security of Personal Information)

The Developer takes the following measures to safely manage users' personal information:

• Encryption of Authentication Information: Authentication information such as OAuth tokens is encrypted and stored securely.
• Minimization of Access Permissions: Only the minimum necessary permissions are requested when using the Google Calendar API.
• Security Updates: Known vulnerabilities are promptly resolved through regular security updates.

Article 8 (Changes to the Privacy Policy)

Any additions, deletions, or modifications to this Privacy Policy will be notified through announcements within the service at least 7 days prior to the enforcement of the changes.
